Taheri, MD, is honored to receive an award at the International Symposium of Endovascular Treatment of Aortic Diseases for his invention of the TALENT Thoracic Stent Graft, which is now being produced by MedTronic. Dr. Taheri, along with co-inventor Howard Leonhardt, accepted the award on February 1, 2005, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
